PURPOSE
Leads the Regional Packaging Operation with a visionary and strategic approach, ensuring the delivery of consumer-centric packaging innovations while maintaining and protecting the business through efficient packaging portfolio management. Driving the organizational shift towards empowering and strengthening regional capabilities, promoting a Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) culture whilst achieving sustainability strategic targets.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
- Drive regional packaging innovation strategies and outcomes to deliver consumer-centric value, aligned with global objectives and commercial needs.
- Managing the home of pack engineering and graphics management within the region following established organizational and GxP regulations.
- Oversee all graphic management regional activities (both innovation and business continuity) to ensure high quality, on time, within compliance execution.
- Enable talent flow between pack ops hub and CoE Packaging to ensure efficient and effective operations within the region.
- Provide technical expertise & management in leading business maintenance and protection activities, including pack portfolio management, to ensure secured supply, economic scalability, and competitive COGS.
- Foster a digital mindset within the team, driving operations through digital implementations liaising with the data, systems & compliance Team (Digital Artwork Management Systems,Product Data Visibility, Analytics etc.)
- Champion company's sustainability initiatives within packaging operations, setting and achieving ambitious targets.
- Facilitate the organizational transition towards a more empowered regional structure, promoting a DSO culture and streamlining operations.
- Act as a key liaison between global and regional functions, ensuring alignment and fostering collaboration.
- Provide visionary leadership and coaching to a team of professionals, adhering to the VACC leadership model.
- Maintain high-level interactions with regional stakeholders across functions, delivering packaging outcome in product and customer teams.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Packaging Technology, Print Technologies, or related fields with min. 10y experience, Master’s Degree (or equivalent) with min. 5y experience Experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience in packaging operations, preferably within OTC/Pharmaceutical products, FMCG, or related industries.
- Deep understanding of Packaging and Graphics, Processes, Materials, Industrialization, and sustainability practices.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in English. Every other language as an asset
- Ability to lead and inspire a team, embodying the VACC leadership principles.
