Head of Operations (Director above)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to drive the growth of our retail business in Taiwan. This role requires a visionary with the ambition and capability to build and lead a new team.
 
Responsibilities:

• Establish and grow the Taiwan business operations team from the ground up. Drive profitable growth through effective solutions and negotiations with B2B partners and suppliers
• Set goals and define the strategic direction for B2B vendors, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
• Achieve goals related to Cycle Time, Efficiency, Productivity, Quality, and Cost
• Take full responsibility for P&L management and lead the business team.
• Enhance the customer proposition by optimizing key factors such as price, selection, and convenience
• Translate in-depth data analysis into actionable strategic insights and present them effectively
• Process Improvement: Automate and streamline processes to enhance productivity and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with business teams to identify issues, manage key processes, set priorities, and drive execution excellence
• Use data-driven decision-making to continuously improve processes, recommend systems, and drive business enhancements

• 10+ years of related experience in FMCG, retail, e-commerce, q-commerce, startup or consulting firms
• B2B, vendor management and operations or excellence experiences is high preferred
• Leadership experience in commercial negotiation within matrix organizations
• Start-up or building a business from scratch is highly preferred
• Proven track records in operations/process excellence, strong skills in negotiation, influencing, and relationship management
• Strategic and tactical thinking with detail-oriented mindset
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data manipulation
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
