My client is a well-established financial institution with a strong presence in corporate banking. They offer different services to institutional clients and are now looking to expand the depositary services.
I am seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer F/M for the depositary services division.
This role is crucial for the strategic expansion into the depositary services market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain institutional clients, ensuring the new depositary services meet market needs and regulatory standards.
Main responsibilities :
- Understanding and Adherence to Regulatory Requirements: Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to depositary services, including directives such as AIFMD and UCITS. Ensure strict adherence to these regulations to safeguard clients' assets in a compliant environment.
- Implementation of Operational Processes: Oversee the implementation of operational procedures that align with regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with internal teams such as legal, compliance, and operations to optimize processes. This ensures efficient service delivery and timely issue resolution for clients
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline internal processes through effective collaboration with legal, compliance, and operations teams. This enhances service delivery efficiency and resolves client issues promptly.
- Technology Integration: Deploy advanced technologies for streamlined reporting, asset monitoring, and risk management. Implement secure digital platforms for transaction monitoring and reporting, ensuring robust service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proactive Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients. Understand their specific needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions effectively.
- Client Education: Educate clients on regulatory updates and their implications for investments under depositary services. Ensure clients are well-informed and confident in the compliance and security measures in place.
These responsibilities emphasize the importance of regulatory knowledge, operational efficiency, technology integration, and proactive client engagement in delivering superior depositary services to institutional clients.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in business development, preferably within the financial services sector for depositary services.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of corporate banking and depositary services.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Language: Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
