Our client, a family office based in Luxembourg, is seeking a Finance Officer (F/M) to join their team. This is a newly created position, where you will work closely as the right hand to the Group CFO.
The role is initially offered part-time with a 30-hour work week, with flexibility to increase up to 40 hours per week depending on the candidate’s preference.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this role will be on finance and accounting tasks, with a smaller portion dedicated to administrative and office management duties.

Finance & Accounting:
- Participate in/handle the preparation of annual accounts.
- Assist with quarterly closing and budget reporting.
- Process daily accounting tasks such as invoice entries, bank statements, and payments.
- Support in communication with external partners such as auditors, banks, and suppliers.

Administrative & Office Management:
- Organize and manage documents, including filing and archiving.
- Handle mail, organize accounting documents, and manage office supplies.
- Occasionally assist with meeting coordination and executive travel arrangements.
- Assist with drafting contracts and managing various administrative tasks as needed.
Your Profile:
- BTS/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
- Fluent French and English required. Luxembourgish is a plus
- 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in accounting, with the ability to independently or significantly contribute to annual account preparation (highly valued).
- Familiarity with accounting software; knowledge of Sage BOB is a plus.
- Discreet, proactive, positive attitude, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
