Our client, a renowned international manufacturing company, is seeking a Group Consolidation Specialist to join their accounting team, located in Luxembourg City (Gare area). This position offers the opportunity to work within a close-knit team while gaining international exposure.

Responsibilities :
- Actively support the preparation of the monthly reporting, annual and semi-annual consolidation accounts to ensure they comply with the relevant accounting principles and are filed (annual) in line with the internal timetable;
- Actively support in the reconciliation procedures between Group accounting principles and local accounting principles on yearly basis;
- Actively contribute to the implementation of the new Group consolidation and reporting tool;
- Support in the preparation of technical accounting memoranda on complex accounting treatments;
- Managing the overall analytical review summary to assist managers and directors in their review of monthly reports and group financial statements;
- Liaise with and provide support across the global Finance functions in the implementation of Group accounting policies and, where required, processes.
- Liaise with the Group’s external auditors to manage and coordinate the audit of both consolidation and statutory financial statements;
- Collaborate closely with other teams in Group Finance (Group treasury and Group FP&A).
- Other ad-hoc projects as requested by the Group Head of Tax and Accounting, such as acquisition accounting, group re-organisations, process improvement projects.
Profile :
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 firms or multinational clients.
- Certified accountant qualifications are a plus.
- Experience in consolidating and producing financial statements for international, multicurrency businesses.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
- Experience in financial reporting processes, including statutory filings and internal reporting.
- Strong communication skills, able to convey data to all leadership levels.
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to meet deadlines.
- Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
- Hands-on approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
