Financial Analyst F/M

Our client, a leading financial services firm, seeks a Financial Analyst with strong accounting background to bolster its team.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting our financial planning and analysis efforts. Working closely with senior analysts and management, you will assist in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Help maintain and update financial models and forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
• Support senior analysts in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

 
Profile:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proficiency in French is essential and knowledge of English and Dutch is a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
