Freelance Accountant (F/M)

We're looking for a Freelance Accountant based in Brussels for a hands-on, operational role in full-cycle accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounting from A to Z, including AP/AR and GL entries, 

• Prepare and file VAT declarations in compliance with Belgian regulations, 

• Support monthly and annual financial closings

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate bookkeeping

• Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts

• Coordinate with auditors and external accounting partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Fluency in English - Fluency in French or Dutch

• Prior experience in Belgian GAAP and operational accounting
