Senior Business Controller (F/M)

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Controller to support the CFO as a strategic finance partner.
This high-impact role blends financial leadership with cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, commercial, and R&D teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Partner with department heads to support decision-making
• Analyze variances and assess financial impact
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for internal and external reporting
• Conduct scenario analysis and ROI evaluations
• Monitor margins and drive cost control by segment, client, and product
• Oversee cost allocation in line with accounting standards
• Support financial tracking of long-term projects
• Improve ERP systems and financial processes
• Mentor junior team members
• Align with accounting on monthly closings and reporting

Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or related field
• 5-7 years’ experience in controlling, FP&A, ideally in life sciences
• Strong skills in Excel, ERP, and BI tools
• Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Strong ethics and communication skills
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a plus
