Job Title: Assistant Supply Chain Manager

Overview

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join a dynamic organization in Singapore. This role is essential for supporting the supply chain operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Support:
    Assist in managing day-to-day supply chain operations, ensuring smooth processes from procurement to delivery.

  • Inventory Management:
    Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand forecasts, and implement strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.

  • Supplier Coordination:
    Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain strong relationships to support supply chain objectives.

  • Process Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the supply chain, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Data Analysis:
    Analyze supply chain data and metrics, preparing reports to inform decision-making and support strategic initiatives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and production, to ensure alignment and achieve common goals.

  • Compliance and Reporting:
    Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and assist in preparing necessary documentation and reports.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience:
    3-5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Analytical Skills:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and supply chain software tools.

  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Organizational Skills:
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Team Player:
    A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
