Job Title: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join a leading organization in Hong Kong. This role is vital for overseeing the information security strategy and ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Strategy Development:
  Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Risk Management:
  Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across the organization, ensuring the protection of critical assets.

• Policy and Compliance:
  Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

• Incident Response:
  Lead the incident response team in managing and mitigating security breaches and vulnerabilities.

• Team Leadership:
  Build and manage a high-performing security team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of security awareness.

• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to communicate security initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies, continuously enhancing the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is preferred.

• Experience:
  10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Technical Expertise:
  Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance regulations relevant to the industry.

• Leadership Skills:
  Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a security-focused team.

• Communication Skills:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Analytical Skills:
  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
