Summary:
We are collaborating with a leading player in garment manufacturing and fashion supply chain solutions, they have a newly created role for Senior Product Developer/ Assistant Manager to join a dedicated team focused on Men’s Wear Athleisure Fashion solutions to Premium international brands. In this role, you will play a crucial part in showcasing products to potential customers and maintaining direct communication with fabric mills, collaborating with R&D and fabric development options and client presentations.

Role Summary:
- Prepare and conduct effective showcases of our products to potential customers
- Communicate directly with fabric mills to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and address any quality-related issues
- Assist in the development of product specifications, including materials, construction, and pricing
- Support the product development process from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising, production, and design teams throughout the product development process to ensure seamless execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and consumer preferences to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and explore new business opportunities in the US and European market; engage with customers and represent the company professionally during customer-facing activities.
Requirements:
- 3-10 years of experience in garment industry with solid and proven record with trading firms or garment manufacturers
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in product development within the garment manufacturing or fashion industry.
- Experience in product development or raw material, fabric vendor management
- Cut & Sew and Athleisure styles, experience in menswear in the mid to high end range.
- Creative and passionate with good fashion sense, ready to overcome challenges and strive to meet career development goals.
- Willingness to travel to mainland and overseas locations if required.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our global team and customers.
Nice to Haves
- Experience working with international fabric mills and suppliers.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in the fashion industry.
- Understanding of global market trends and consumer preferences.
- Fluency in multiple languages to facilitate communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Certification in product management or related field.
