Overview
We are seeking a seasoned VP - Crisis Management to join a leading financial institution in the Philippines. This role is pivotal in developing and executing crisis management strategies to safeguard the organization’s reputation and ensure operational resilience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk management, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities

Crisis Management Strategy:
Develop and implement comprehensive crisis management frameworks that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. -
Risk Assessment:
Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential crises and develop mitigation plans to address vulnerabilities. -
Incident Response:
Lead the response to crises, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and resolution. -
Training and Preparedness:
Design and deliver training programs to enhance crisis awareness and preparedness across the organization. -
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure a cohesive and effective crisis response. -
Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor emerging risks and trends, providing regular updates to senior management and recommending actions as necessary. -
Post-Crisis Evaluation:
Conduct post-crisis reviews to assess response effectiveness and implement improvements to crisis management processes.
Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CEM, CRM) is preferred. -
Experience:
10+ years of experience in crisis management, risk management, or operational resilience within the financial services sector. -
Leadership Skills:
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. -
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. -
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. -
Cultural Awareness:
Understanding of the local market dynamics and regulatory landscape in the Philippines.
