Position: Business Development Manager – Offshore Wind
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Offshore Wind sector, with a primary focus on Taiwan. This role is part of a global energy and industrial solutions division and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic accounts, including owners, EPCs, and contractors critical to offshore operations.
The successful candidate will develop tailored customer engagement strategies, lead key project initiatives, and coordinate internal resources to promote integrated infrastructure solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping the market approach for the offshore segment, ensuring alignment across business units, and overseeing implementation in the local market.
Key Markets:
This role focuses primarily on Offshore Wind but may also support related segments including Offshore Oil & Gas (fixed platforms, floating systems, modular structures) and Shipbuilding.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead development and execution of customer strategies across assigned accounts in the Offshore (Wind) business, fostering relationships and driving project specifications and sales growth.

Manage key account strategies in collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.

Take ownership of the local project pipeline, forming and coordinating pursuit teams to focus on high-priority opportunities and increase market presence.

Define and execute a comprehensive business plan for the offshore sector in the local market.

Collaborate with local sales teams to ensure effective sales conversion and seamless project execution; directly lead efforts for selected key accounts.

Provide market intelligence and insights to global teams to inform and refine broader business strategies.

Collect and communicate customer feedback to support portfolio and solution improvements.

Occasional travel may be required (local, regional, international) to support business development activities.
Requirements:

Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust, influence decision-makers, and lead negotiations. Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is required.

Experience with wind power projects (offshore or onshore) is preferred.

Solid understanding of power generation infrastructure and civil/energy construction is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales, business development, or relevant roles within EPCs, developers, or wind power OEMs.

Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly articulate business goals and market strategy to stakeholders at all levels.

Deep understanding of customer challenges and market dynamics, with the ability to influence internal direction accordingly.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Proven experience engaging with senior and executive-level customers.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, multi-functional business initiatives across regions and partners.

Confident in internal and external networking, with the ability to navigate matrixed organizations effectively.
