BU Head/Sr. Director, Robotics Business
Location: Taipei
We are seeking a BU Head, Robotics Business for a large ODM/EMS company. This is a newly created position for the future expansions. Leadership experience within the relevant industries of Robot/Robotics or Industrial Automation is required.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and develop the Robotics Business which include the functions of Business Development, Sales, Product and Project Management. Provide operational leadership, including strategic planning, resources allocation, budgeting, sales forecasting, ROI, and talent development.
• Create and implement winning sales strategies that align the company’s goals of growth and technical/operational resources. Look for new demands or opportunities of new markets, applications, and services.
• Drive and maximize organizational efficiency. Collaborate closely with the leadership team and the functional leaders of the organization.
• Create and implement plans that successfully maintain key performance indicators related to business objectives, profitability, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction to increase retention and referrals to drive repeat sales.
Requirements:
• 15~25 years of combined working experience in the industry sectors of Robotics and/or Industrial Automation, with the greater responsibilities of managing a Business Unit and/or leading cross-functional teams of Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing/Management.
• Strong working knowledge and connections of the EMS/ODM business models for B-to-B, Industry/Enterprise applications.
• Proven track records of successfully heading a business unit or organization that exceeds the business targets. A team player who can thrive in helping corporate and client succeed. Able to work in a fast- paced and dynamic working environment.
• Client interfacing experience is a must.
• Mandarin speaking is a must. Ideally is able to use English for all the business meetings and discussions. Good communications and interpersonal skills.
