CEO - Chief Executive Officer (SaaS/Fintech Start-Up)

We’re looking for a CEO (Chief Executive Officer) for a SaaS Start-up funded by a big TMT group of companies in Taiwan. This tech start-up aims to be a financial service provider for consumers and merchants, processing payments and serving users/sellers in Asia. A qualified candidate is expected to have a very deep understanding about the payment industry ecosystem in the applications of consumers/merchants. Experience of Merger & Acquisition (for Tech Start-ups) is a must.
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the company's overall business, technology, and operational plans and strategies to achieve both long-term and short-term goals.
• Merger & acquisition of tech/SaaS start-ups from evaluation/assessment, negotiations, due-diligence, to post-management.
• Work with other senior stakeholders to develop the company’s systems & services, software/technology, payment flows, and other digital technology solutions.
• Develop the new markets and clients (especially for South East Asia)
• Form/reorganize the teams; Coach the managers/directors by providing leadership and required resources to ensure the teams work well together.
• Communicating with key stakeholders and reporting to Chairman & board directors. Keep both internal and external stakeholders informed.

 
Responsibilities:

• 10+ years of people managerial experience, currently or previously holding a job title such as CEO, COO, CTO, or Founder/Co-Founder in the industry sectors of Software/SaaS, Fintech, and/or Information Technology & Services.      
• Track records of Merger & Acquisition in the Tech space
• Familiar with the industry/business trends in the field of Software/IT services, mobile  payments, and digital innovations.
• Fluent English and Chinese
• Experience with South-East Asia markets will be an advantage
