We’re looking for a senior CIO/Head of IT, Taiwan Office for one of the largest multinational companies in Financial Services. This role will lead IT and digital transformation initiatives, using technology to increase the organization’s efficiency and productivity to meet business objectives. This role will report to the COO Taiwan and the CIO Asia.

- Managing IT staff and developing department goals; (20%)
- Collaborating with members of the executive team to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals; (20%)
- Planning, deploying and maintaining IT systems and operations; (10%)
- Developing and implementing IT budgets; (10%)
- Staying updated on IT trends and emerging technologies; (10%)
- Developing and enforcing IT best practices across the organization; (10%)
- Overseeing relationships with vendors, contractors and service providers;(10%)
- Ensuring compliance with government regulations that apply to systems operations (10%)
Job Qualification:
- Minimum 15 years working experience in Information Technology (IT) function, ideally in the industries of Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, or Information Technology & Services.
- Comfortable working in a multinational, multi-cultural environment.
- 10 years of management experience in administration of information systems and technology, with increasing level of job responsibilities. Ideally was/is managing a team of 50-100 members.
- Education: Bachelor/master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
- Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
- Excellent managerial skills.

- Ability to recruit and manage IT staff members;
- Project management skills;
- Budget management skills;
- Aptitude for customer engagement analysis;
- Ability to establish partnerships with service providers and vendors.
