We’re seeking a HR Director for a large electronics manufacturing company to lead its HR teams to serve the company’s business & operations in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. This position will report to the corporate HR Vice President, supervising a full-functional HR team of 3 managers and 16-18 staffs. Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese is required.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Human Resources team to support 3,500+ employees in Taiwan, HK, & Japan and being responsible for HR critical areas such as talent acquisition, total rewards, learning and organization development.
- Serve as a senior HR Business Partner for senior leaders of Business Unites, Sales, R&D/Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain based in Taiwan, offering in-depth expertise, guidance, and support.
- Work closely with the HR team & HR Vice President to enhance the employer brand ad talent attraction to meet the needs of the company. Co-creating and co-delivering strategic initiatives in an iterative way, engaging in continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement HR policies and practices across the organization, ensuring consistency and compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Digital Transformation Projects: Leveraging technology and data to enhance their operations and provide data-driven insights. Cultivating a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing to stay abreast of emerging trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
- 12-20 working years in Human Resources function with progressive roles & responsibilities of handling a full-functional or generalist HR team based in Taiwan. Strong in Recruitment/Talent Acquisition will be an advantage.
- HR Digital Transformation: experience of changing and digitalizing existing HR processes. Automate them, make them data-driven, and create a better digital experience. Use AI-powered HR tools to better cater to employee expectations throughout the employee lifecycle and work more efficiently as a People function.
- Manufacturing industry background is a must (Semiconductor manufacturing, Electronics or Electrical Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Chemicals). Familiar with labor laws & regulations in Taiwan.
- Minimum 3 years of managing a multi-functional HR team of 10 (or larger).
- Track records of successfully establishing/leading a high-performance HR team, building diverse current and future organizational capability through talent, development and employee experience; taking an active role in developing and mentoring at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability and experience of working with people from different functions. Actively engage with the senior leaders of the company to support strategic decision making.
- Full working proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
