Director, Platform Technology Marketing

We’re looking for a Director, Platform Technology Marketing for one of the largest Semiconductor IC companies. This is a newly-created global role, responsible for the company’s Vehicle / Automotive product technology roadmap planning and go-to-market strategy.  Working location: Taiwan | Germany | The Netherlands | USA (to be discussed)
 
Responsibilities:

• Define Vehicle/Automotive EE Architecture technology trend for next 1 and 2 generations, intra and inter-ECU connections.
• Establish a framework for feasibility evaluation to ensure the viability of new technologies and products based on Customer Use cases and user experiences.
• Technology Roadmap Planning and Go To Market strategy for the newly-created technology/ product platform.
• Work closely with the customers and industry eco-system partners. Understand the market needs and system applications and transfer them into requirements for SoC designs.
• Identify the values added for the company’s products, from technology roadmap/trends as well as system-level commercial aspects.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of working experience in the industry sectors of Semiconductors (Fabless / SoC designs) or Tier-1 Automotive (parts, technology) supplies.    
• Preferred product/technology experience: ADAS, CCC, Cockpit.
• Knowledgeable and design experience with the whole Vehicle Electric System. Has good connections with the major Car Makers, Automotive parts suppliers, and the related industry eco-system partners.     
• Full working proficiency in English.
• Master degree/above of engineering with the majors in Computer Science, Computer /  Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related studies.
