- Lead the team to provide timely and accurate financial reports on business performance
- Comfortable in performing as hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Develop, implement and maintain financial controls and processes and ensure best practices
- Overseeing the timely and accurate accounting & consolidation
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships, drive performance
- Comply with federal, state, and local GAAP requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
- Build and maintain effective relationship with both internal business functions and external stakeholders including banks, external auditors and tax advisers
- Advise and coordinate with CFO in setting policies and procedures to ensure accurate, and timely reporting and accounting. Own Group accounting standards and policies
- Assess current accounting operations and optimize it where needed incl ERP system, proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and execute on implementation
- Prepare, review and analyze financial statements to ensure correctness and support and provide financial analyses
- Support the definition and implementation of a Group wide Finance vision and strategy as member of the Global Finance Leadership Team
