A manufacturing company is looking for a HSE Manager to develop, implement, and manage safety and health programs at a production site. The role ensures a safe working environment in line with regulations and internal standards. Responsibilities include risk identification, incident investigation, training, and collaboration with internal teams to promote continuous safety improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Policy Development and Implementation:
-
Establish and regularly update site safety and health policies to meet regulatory requirements.

Develop emergency response procedures and ensure employees are trained to carry them out effectively.

Risk Assessment and Control:
-
Conduct safety risk assessments to identify hazards affecting employees.
-
Introduce preventive measures such as safety equipment installation and workplace condition improvements.

Incident Investigation:
-
Investigate workplace accidents or near-miss events to identify root causes and define corrective actions.

Prepare detailed incident reports and communicate findings to management.

Training and Awareness:
-
Deliver ongoing safety training to all employees.
-
Encourage staff engagement in safety initiatives and feedback.

Compliance and Audits:
-
Monitor operations for compliance with relevant safety and health laws and standards.
-
Perform internal safety audits and support external inspections when necessary.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work with production, maintenance, and other departments to integrate safety practices into daily operations.

Participate in the safety review of new equipment and projects.

Health Promotion:
-
Support programs related to employee health, including health checks, prevention of occupational diseases, and wellness promotion.

Assist in the development of initiatives to improve employee well-being.

Requirements:

Knowledge of safety management systems such as ISO 45001 and relevant regulations

Experience in risk assessment and incident investigation

Strong communication skills for working with employees and management

Leadership experience in promoting safety culture and managing safety-related initiatives
