Job Title: IT Digital Transformation Leader

Location: Taiwan

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Leader to spearhead the development and implementation of our internal systems and their modules. This newly created managerial role involves leading a team of 10+ staff members transferred internally. The role presents an exciting opportunity to drive continuous improvement and innovation in a customized internal system that will undergo ongoing enhancements over the next five years or more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 10+ staff members to ensure the effective development, enhancement, and implementation of internal systems and their modules.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of system improvements, ensuring that new functionality and features align with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the internal systems remain aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging Cloud, AI, and other cutting-edge technologies to improve system functionality and overall business performance.
  • Ensure system scalability and flexibility by integrating internal systems with other key business applications.
  • Define, manage, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time and within scope.
  • Continuously assess system performance and propose process optimizations to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a growing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, industry standards, and regulatory compliance in system development and implementation.

Key Requirements:

  • Background in Life Insurance: Solid understanding of the life insurance industry, including business processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Managerial Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, ideally managing teams of 10-20+ professionals.
  • Experience with Cloud, AI, and Digital Transformation Projects: Proven experience leading projects in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation within large-scale IT systems.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Capable of managing cross-functional teams, collaborating with senior management, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and addressing system inefficiencies.
  • System Development & Implementation Experience: Proven expertise in the end-to-end process of system development and implementation, including post-implementation support.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

  • Expertise in managing cloud-based systems and AI-driven applications.
  • Experience in leading digital transformation efforts within established organizations.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale IT systems and high-performing teams.
