Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement short- and long-term operational plans to achieve defined objectives effectively.
  • Production Management: Systematically oversee production processes, ensuring effective capacity utilization to deliver cost-efficient, high-quality products.
  • Business Responsiveness: Identify weaknesses, problems, and opportunities within the business and take swift, effective action to address challenges or capitalize on opportunities.
  • Warehouse & Inventory Management: Optimize warehouse space utilization for seamless material flow while adhering to safety standards, and maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records to support daily operations and production forecasting.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound truck operations to minimize wait times and streamline material movement.
  • Team Development: Organize, coach, motivate, and develop employees to build a skilled workforce aligned with the factory's strategic objectives.
  • Leadership Growth: Enhance subordinate capabilities and leadership aligned with business growth and market expansion plans.
  • Workplace Culture: Foster a work environment built on trust, innovation, teamwork, employee ownership, and accountability, encouraging integrity and commitment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate and align with other departments to enforce quality and safety policies across the organization.
  • Employee Communication: Ensure team members are informed about company strategies, policies, and management directives through consistent and effective communication.
  • Safety & Health Commitment: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, prioritizing employee well-being.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain competitive operational and managerial competency by focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality assurance, and capability enhancement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote ongoing learning, coaching, and innovation to stay updated on industry trends, technology, and best practices.
  • Documentation Oversight: Review and approve critical departmental documents, including purchase requisitions, expense approvals, and daily operational records.
  • Food Safety Advocacy: Ensure food safety standards are upheld, aligning with organizational objectives, statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • ISO Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO 22000/14001, OHSAS 18001, and Halal certifications through robust management and monitoring systems.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Budget, monitor, and manage annual material consumption, operational expenses, headcount, and production capacity.
  • Cost Optimization: Regularly analyze operational cost structures to identify gaps and implement improvements.
  • KPI Achievement: Achieve annual KPIs through continuous performance improvements and system optimization.
  • Leadership in Daily Operations: Act as the driving force behind the effective operation of daily management systems and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
 
Qualification
  • College degree or above and at least 5 years’ professional experience within production function, preferred in supervisory position
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English
  • Familiar with MRP/MRPII/SAP/ERP, GMP, HACCP
  • Understanding of HSE requirements, supply chain processes, new product development, and go-to-market commercialization.
  • Good facilitation and interpersonal skills and basic knowledge of mechanical operation
