Mechanical Application Engineer (Rotating Machinery)

Summary
Responsible for providing technical support and solutions for rotating machinery (e.g., industrial compressors, pumps, fans), assisting customers with product applications and troubleshooting, driving new product applications, and enhancing market competitiveness.

• Plan and manage rotating machinery equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation control systems.
• Address customer technical inquiries related to product applications and provide business and technical support.
• Assist in resolving customer issues and provide product education and training.
• Perform product and equipment troubleshooting and repair to ensure smooth operations.
• Deliver accurate product specifications and application-related information to meet customer requirements.
• Create technical drawings and diagrams to support design and presentation needs.
• Gather and analyze market demands to develop new product applications and provide consultation services.
• Conduct product presentations, sales explanations, and support customer procurement negotiations.
• Collect and analyze market intelligence to stay informed about competitive dynamics.
• Manage product development budgets and cost controls to ensure project profitability.
• Maintain and update customer databases, gathering insights into customer needs and preferences.
• Provide effective solutions to customer inquiries and foster strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with rotating machinery equipment and its applications, with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D or similar drawing software and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to perform data analysis and manage budgets effectively.
