Job Title: Operations Director
Reports to: Site Lead
Location: South Taiwan
Our client is a US listed Global leading Multinational manufacturer in the area of semiconductor and display.
Key Responsibilities

• Works closely with Senior and Executive Management to align overall operation development directions/opportunities.
• Influences and negotiates at the top executive levels, with great latitude on outcomes; presents and defends complicated or delicate issues.
• Identifies and pursues new and complex technologies to improve production and cycle time, increase efficiency and resource utilization and maximize profitability.
• Drive optimization of the Value Stream by elimination of waste and making flow improvements across or within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and/ or service product operations.
• Evaluates key business challenges; directs the development of new or innovative solutions
• Understand data trends and drive quantified results by designing and deploying analytical systems and processes.
• Create metrics, deployment goals, and objectives to drive accountability throughout the organization.
• Provides input and feedback to key leadership positions about process improvement opportunities.
• Plans and evaluates optimal resource utilization and efficiency of operation to minimize costs and allow for on-time delivery of product to customers.
• Engage in problem solving in complex situations and process improvements in streamlining work processes.
• Leads improvement efforts and projects to refine production methods and processes to produce quality products that meet customer requirements in the most cost-effective manner.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship for his/her direct reports in the areas of operational management, systems development, and optimization.
• Ensures all direct reports are sufficiently skilled and trained to perform their functions in a high-quality and efficient manner.

• Negotiates and influences the opinions of others at the senior executive level and in external organizations; exercises sensitivity to the audience
