Confidential Search - We're seeking a seasoned Sales Vice President for a multinational company running Billions of US Dollars business per annum. This position will need to lead multiple sales teams (150+ members), reporting to the President of Asia.
Responsibilities:
· 20~30 years of combined working experience in Sales, Business Development, or general Management in the Semiconductor industry, ideally with the Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDMs) or Semiconductor Distribution business.
· Currently or previously holding a title as Sales VP, General Manager, or Regional Director Asia, managing multiple Sales & FAE teams within a large MNC organization. Preferred management scope: 100-300 staff; revenues: >USD1 Billion per annum
· Strong connections to the industry leaders in Taiwan market (Semiconductors and Electronics Design & Manufacturing)
· Proven track records of successfully managing and developing strong, efficient Sales teams that meet/exceed business targets.
· Have managed distribution/channel business; deep knowledge about the semiconductor/electronics ecosystem and business models
· Comfortable and capable to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural working environment.
· Ability to conduct frequent business travelsFluent/Native in English

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all planning, directing, and executing of sales strategy to meet and/or exceed established sales and business operations goals to business plans. Perform these functions within the context of the company’s objectives, policies and procedures.
- Align strategic direction for business for assigned market to company goals and customer needs to build a rigorous business culture. Ability to size and scope priorities in the city market, understand competitive advantages and disadvantages and deploy resources to grow market share accordingly.
- Work in partnership with Global HQ & Regional HQ leaders to formulate initiatives and programs that drive the local market success. Leverages multiple disciplines of supply chain, manufacturing processes, programming, tools and resources, and engineering concepts for the success.
- Lead, motivates and develop a diversified sales and support team that supports Company’s value proposition to customers and suppliers and vertical market strategies in local market.
- Build succession plan for future state. Make operational decisions including sales effectiveness, working capital that supports company goals on financial targets by leveraging appropriate support functions.
- Provides leadership and direction through Directors, who have Senior Managers and Managers within the structure
- Is accountable for the performance and results of a large, strategically important discipline in a large market
- Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of functional or departmental strategies
