Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals across Taiwan and international locations, fostering effective collaboration and productivity.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for backend, frontend, and mobile development teams.
• Build up the development team to enhance technical capabilities and team effectiveness.
• Set clear objectives for team members, conduct regular code and performance reviews, and offer constructive feedback.
• Work closely with Product Managers to ensure alignment with the organization’s product vision and drive production-ready solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex, multi-platform application issues, delivering robust solutions.
• Collect and address technical and design requirements to ensure comprehensive, functional applications.
• Offer training and support to internal teams, guiding junior developers as needed.
• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements to continually improve team expertise and project outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development or technical leadership, with a proven record of managing and mentoring.
• Strong hands-on programming skills, such as Java, Golang or Python, along with expertise in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, object-oriented programming principles, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across international teams.
• Experience in startup environments is a plus.
