Sr. Firmware Engineer (Audio AES67)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement firmware for the home entertainment product line, focusing on creating an optimal user experience.
• Design and implement features to support hardware testing and diagnostics for various embedded devices.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers and software developers to ensure smooth integration of hardware and firmware.
• Conduct performance testing, debugging, and profiling of firmware to ensure high performance and stability.

Requirements

• Strong passion for embedded firmware development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux firmware development.
• Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, and QoS.
• Hands-on experience with audio-over-IP protocols, including AES67 (must have), RTP, and PTP.
• Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or Linux-based systems.
• Understanding of clock synchronization, precision timing, and jitter management in IP audio networks.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, for effective collaboration within a global team.
