Sr. Hardware PM

What You Will Do:

• Manage the hardware product lifecycle from ideation through EVT, DVT, PVT, MP, and post-launch, ensuring that all certifications remain current.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the technical and operational aspects of your product to inform decision-making.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of your target audience and the purpose of your product.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to explore technical limitations and balance them against user requirements.
• Develop and implement updates, maintenance plans, and end-of-life strategies for existing products.
• Drive overall strategy and prioritize work, collaborating with Project Managers to ensure the voice of the user is incorporated into the process.
• Oversee execution and ensure full quality and program oversight for new devices.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, such as engineering and design, providing weekly updates on product progress.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

• 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent (experience in consumer electronic hardware and/or payments is a plus).
• Proven experience owning new product development from concept to launch and sustaining.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and strong go-to-market expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities in both Chinese and English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with payments-related hardware certifications, such as EMVCo L1, L2, L3, and PCI.
• Experience in payments and/or eCommerce
