Vice President, Head of Financial Controller

We’re looking for a corporate Vice President, Head of Financial Controller for one of the leading electronics manufacturing companies operated across 30+ sites globally. This is a high-visibility role that reports to the CFO, responsible for overseeing the group of companies’ accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience of managing multiple controller teams in a large-scale, (electronics/semiconductor) manufacturing industry is highly desired.     
 
Responsibilities:

• Outline a high-level finance leader's responsibility, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure the compliance of financial reporting. Prepare consolidated financial statements with US GAAP/IFRS/local GAAP/ SOX.
• Supervise plant/site financial controllers and regional finance leaders to ensure the alignment with corp. financial strategies.
• Oversee financial operations: This includes managing cash flow, debt, and collections.
• Coordinate with external auditors for audits and statutory reporting.
• Standardize accounting procedures across entities to maintain uniformity.
• Support CFO and executive leadership in strategic planning, M&A DD and business modeling. Provide financial insights and risk assessments to support decision-making across all BU/OPS/FUs.
• Lead cost accounting and inventory valuation processes.
• Champion finance digitalization initiatives and lead finance transformation projects to enhance the efficiency.

 
Requirements:

• 15~25 years’ combined experience in the functions of Controlling, Finance & Accounting; currently/previously holding a title of CFO or (Sr.) Director/Head of Financial Controller.   
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director and above), managing multiple Controller teams in a large-scale company (US$5B+ turnover/year).
• Electronics/Semiconductor Manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and financial knowledge, including tax policies. Familiar with costing analysis and costing models.
• High level of business ethics, and excellent commercial acumen.
• Proven track record of collaborating or advising senior management on financial, operational and strategic issues. 
• Ability to drive financial process improvement and efficiency throughout organizations.
• Experience of international Merger & Acquisition (M&A).
• Strong oral communication and people management skills; positive work attitude. Ability to adapt to business dynamics.
• Energetic, flexible, and comfortable to work with and lead a multinational controller team across 4 continents.
