- Technical contribution
- Completes to project/service assignments and provides issue resolution with product and application knowledge and analytical skills according to engineering practices, principles, and procedures.
- Performs testing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities on site with hands-on skills and communicates with global team for field issue resolution when needed.
- Project management
- Reports any contract/quality/technical/cost issues to management along with opinions on resolution.
- Supports Project Managers in project status/issue reporting.
- Ensures adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
- Prepares project related documentation according to assigned scope of deliverables.
- Planning and control
- Creates work plans and duration estimates in own area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time.
- Improves effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with the team.
- Customer
- Supports customers on technical issues and assists communication to understand their technical expectations as well as frequent travel to the customer sites.
- Work Safety
- Ensures that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field) with appropriate field experience in the environment and application of rolling stock.
- Competence of hand-on practice for technical field work.
- Analytical and critical thinking skill for situation assessing, problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Well communication skills with both Chinese and English in efficient and effective manner.
- Flexibility to work in a team environment.
- Customer focused attitude.
- High level of safety awareness
