The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

•  Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to management and stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to optimize financial performance and ensure the company's financial stability.
• Conduct regular financial analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports, tax returns, and other regulatory filings.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in a medium to large-sized organization.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficient in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
•  Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
