Requirements Engineer (m/f/d) Navigation Systems

Together with our partner, Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine B.V., we are looking for a Requirements Engineer (m/f/d) Navigation Systems for the office in Hamburg. Being one of the leading manufacturers of state-of-the-art navigation, radar und controls systems, Sperry Marine offers everything container and cruise ships, for example, need to navigate safely from one port to another.

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for recording and analyzing customer requirements and stay in close contact with Sperry Marines customers to ensure a smooth project process
• Together with the Hard- and Software Specialists you design innovative concepts and solutions to create systems that can flexibly scale to meet the needs
• You take over the maintenance of the requirements in the Requirements Management System (Polarion) and help defining operating concepts as well as UID designs
• You work closely with the other departments to promote the transfer of knowledge between the technical areas to use synergy effects

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering or a comparable field with first professional experience
• Extensive experience in the field of requirements engineering and system engineering as well as knowledge of a requirements management tool (e.g. Polarion, Doors)
• Good knowledge of programming with C or C++ and ideally experience in the development of embedded systems
• Team player with very good communication in Englisch and good knowledge of German
