Our client, with headquarters strategically located near the French border, seeks a dynamic and driven Financial Controller to manage the financial operations of five European firms. You will report to the Continental Financial Controller.

Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Led the optimization and presentation of accurate monthly financial reports directly to the management team in Luxembourg.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Spearheaded the creation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, collaborating closely with counterparts across European subsidiaries.
- Financial Analysis & Cost Management: Analyze financial data to uncover trends, identify variances, and pinpoint cost savings and efficiency enhancement opportunities.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure strict compliance with local accounting standards and internal policies and coordinate external audits seamlessly.
- Internal Audit: Occasionally visit European subsidiaries (1-2 per year) to conduct internal audits and ensure financial integrity.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity to support the company's financial health.
Qualifications :
- At least a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, or controlling.
- Between 3 - 5 years of professional experience as an external auditor or financial controller. A first experience in luxembourg is required.
- Proficient in using Excel. Experience using Power BI is a plus.
- Having a flexible and agile mindset.
- Being fluent in English and other languages is an asset.
- Willing to travel occasionally (2 - 3 times a year).
