Our client, a leading financial services firm, seeks a Business Controller for strengthening its finance team.
As Business Controller will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and performance of the company by providing insightful analysis, strategic guidance, and actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, business analysis, and reporting.

As Business Controller will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and performance of the company by providing insightful analysis, strategic guidance, and actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, business analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks in financial and operational data, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and optimize business processes.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from expected results.
- Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, and support the development of long-term financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Profile:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, business control, or related roles.
- Proficiency in French is essential and knowledge of English and Dutch is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
