Naval Architect F/M

Our client is a company specializing in naval architecture and marine engineering in the following sectors: 

• Marine resources and harvesting
• Defense and security
• Offshore and energy
• Marine services and transport

They are part of a large group that also operates in aeronautics, energy/industry and defense/security.
As part of its development and following the acquisition of major projects, this company is looking for two naval architects.

As a naval architect, you will be responsible for :

• Draw up detailed plans and installation drawings for specific equipment, based on the prototype and flagship product definition file, with a view to the production phase.
• Draw parts and equipment.
• Work on the design of a specific vessel, based on the prototype definition file, but with a different propulsion system.
• On-site construction monitoring and updating of definition files.
• Follow-up of the quality file for series production.
• Support other company teams on related projects.

Ideal profile:

• Engineering degree.
• You are familiar with drawing software: Autocad, Rhino. 2D and 3D naval design is an asset.
• You speak French or Dutch and are fluent in English.
