Morgan Philips is searching for a HR Advisor to join a Charity based in London for 6 months paying up to £42,000pa.  The role will begin ASAP and is based centrally.  Although this is a hybrid role, you will only be required in the office 1 day per week.

The HR Advisor will play a crucial role in providing HR expertise and support to managers and employees across the organization. Reporting to the CPO, the Advisor will assist in implementing the design, transformation, and delivery of services, policies, systems, and processes. The role holder will contribute to the development and execution of the People strategy, with the aim of becoming an employer of choice in the charity sector.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support the CPO in the implementation of services, policies, systems, and processes to enhance the organization's People & Culture function.
2. Lead recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for new hires.
3. Collaborate with outsourced suppliers to manage payroll, benefits, and employee wellbeing programs.
4. Provide guidance and support to employees on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
5. Assist in the development and delivery of learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
6. Maintain and update HR policies and practices, ensuring they align with legal requirements and organizational values.
7. Contribute to the shaping and development of the people proposition, ensuring it reflects the evolving needs of the organization.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR, sharing knowledge and insights with the CPO and wider team.
9. Collaborate with other departments to foster a positive and inclusive work culture that supports employee engagement and retention.
10. Support the CPO in any other HR-related projects or initiatives as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
1. CIPD Level 5
2. Proven experience in a similar HR advisory role, preferably within the charity sector.
3. Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practices.
4. Familiarity with payroll, benefits, and employee wellbeing programs.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
