Report to: Global Technology Director, Interconnect Solutions (ICS)
Our client in this search is a global leading electronics materials company
Responsibilities:
- Work with ICS global technology leader to oversee the portfolio and develop the strategy to win in key growth initiatives.
- Provide high level communication & presentation materials with strategic content on R&D resource optimization and investment returns.
- Support ICS global technology leader to develop workstreams and objectives within organization to ensure effective cross LOB/BU collaborations.
- Act as primary interface with each LOB global technology leader to develop and manage CAPEX investment plan to strengthen technology capabilities for key growth initiatives, aligned with strategy.
- Lead process and project with each LOB global technology leader on R&D budget management and deliver monthly outlook. To ensure R&D new product development, critical trials and customer demonstrations could be implemented on time and within the allocated budget.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with each LOB global technology leaders on staffing plan and resource allocation, aligned with business growth and people development.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or related field.
- 7-10 years above industrial experience engaged or knowledge in printed circuit board or semiconductor is a defined advantage.
- Succussed track record in working with international team and collaboration skills.
- The successful candidate will be self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies on fast time scales and a team-player that can work in multi-disciplinary, cross-geographic teams.
- Demonstrated ability creating long term technology strategic plans connected to business strategies.
- Effectively communicates verbally and written communications to team members and management on all aspects of program activity.
- Capability to make clear, persuasive, concise, and well-organized oral presentations.
- Excel in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Words.
