Business Analyst F/M - Asset Management Company

Our client is a renowned asset management company with entities across Europe. We seek a Business Analyst to support the firm's operations and international strategy projects.
 

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Regulatory part: 

• Monitor and review financial statements and regulatory and tax reporting.
• Ensure timely submission of regulatory and statutory filings to relevant authorities.
• Assist with overseeing and monitoring product distribution, investment advice, and discretionary portfolio management.
• Monitor internal and external suppliers (HR, IT, corporate accounting).
• Ensure alignment across all business lines and shared service functions.
• Coordinate with internal and external finance, tax, audit, and advisory parties.

Project management part: 

• Contribute to the planning and management of projects by defining goals and setting timelines.
• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of high-priority programs.
• Prepare director-level presentations and periodic reports for the Board.
• Gather and analyze information, formulate hypotheses, and communicate recommendations.
• Provide business insights and analyses, identify gaps, and design robust processes.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 to 4 years (maximum) of experience as a dynamic Consultant (specializing in strategy, corporate finance, tax, or accounting), ideally in a Big 4 environment in Luxembourg.
• Hold a Master's degree in finance, accounting, or business, showcasing a solid academic foundation.
• Possess fundamental knowledge in accounting acquired through university studies or relevant prior experience.
• Proficient in crafting compelling executive-level presentations and conducting data analysis using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Open-minded, diligent, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a challenging work environment.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) is a must, while proficiency in an additional European language is considered a valuable advantage.
