Head of Credit & Risk Management

Morgan Philips Executive Search is looking for the Head of Credit & Risk Management for an important payments industry company. The candidate will be responsible for the day to day monitoring of clients/accounts as well as performing credit analysis and underwriting activities.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing credit analysis and underwriting activities for the largest volume / high risk prospective accounts using credit evaluation guidelines and client history to assess credit worthiness. 
• Responsible for the day to day monitoring of clients/accounts. 
• Prepares underwriting documents for management review on accounts with risk exceeding the standard thresholds. 
• Interaction and conducts negotiation with clients.
• Review and approve risk analysis completed by Credit Officers. 
• Involved in general Credit Policy and process development and handle escalated underwriting issues.
• Responsible for system enhancements, implementation of process improvements and improving overall enrollment efficiencies. 
• Handle escalated calls and resolve problems and negotiate with commercial/merchant/portfolio accounts.
• Provides monthly reporting on Risk Mitigation results. 

Main requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business  or Engineering.
• 5+ years credit analysis/portfolio management experience or equivalent, including 3 years direct acquirer experience. 5 – 7 years supervisory experience.  Prior knowledge of Risk Management in the Acquiring industry.
• Advanced level of English
