Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the company's logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
  • Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and resolve issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management regarding logistics performance, initiatives, and strategic plans.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG industries’ logistics management, preferably in the Tobacco and Alcohol industries or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics principles, transportation modes, and warehousing operations.
  • Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in both English and Korean, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
