Our client is an Asia-based integrated pharmaceutical business, with strong presence regionally and globally. With their manufacturing operations based in Asia, they are currently seeking for a Project Manager to oversees their Capital and Engineering Projects. 

Job Requirements:
  • Develop and enhance process designs for production to optimize efficiency, scalability, and compliance. Identify automation opportunities and implement best practices to boost production yield, minimize waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Spearhead the specification, selection, and integration of specific production equipment, encompassing encapsulation machines, dryers, polishers, and packaging systems.
  • Ensure that all engineering designs, processes, and equipment adhere to pertinent regulatory standards such as FDA, cGMP, and ICH. Participate in regulatory inspections and audits, offering expertise to ensure audit readiness and ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to oversee the brownfield project lifecycle, from inception to execution, spanning site development, construction supervision, and commissioning.
  • Develop and lead validation strategies for new equipment and processes, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ)
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in related production. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, cut costs, and elevate product quality.
Qualifications: 
  • Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering and any related disciplines
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in sizeable pharmaceutical manufacturing setting, with extensive experience in leading brownfield projects for pharma facilities
  • Strong and extensive understanding and technical know-how on pharma regulations, including FDA, cGMP, and other international regulatory standards
  • Experience in large-scale project management, including leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing vendors and contractors, and ensuring successful project delivery
