(Sr.) Software QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed test plans and cases to validate software functionality, ensuring alignment with user requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, and application review testing to identify defects, and verify the stability and compliance of software products prior to release.
• Report software defects, and collaborate closely with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution, monitoring the defect resolution process.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to project stakeholders, highlighting potential risks and their impact on users.
• Continuously enhance the testing process by identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, including the implementation of test automation.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Quality Analyst or Software Test Engineer with a strong emphasis on manual software testing in a professional setting.
• Proficient in using defect tracking tools and managing the defect lifecycle.
• Skilled in creating test plans, test cases, and compiling comprehensive testing reports.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a sharp attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with experience working collaboratively in an agile development environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Quality Analyst or Software Test Engineer.
• Experience with testing mobile and payment applications, including payment terminals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with automation testing, with programming skills in Java or Python.
• Strong communication skills in English.
