We are looking for a Head of HR Administration that will our client reporting to the HR Director.
His/her mission will be to lead the payroll & benefits, audit & compliance, immigration & mobility, employee relations and compensation and benefits areas.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the payroll cycle for ~1.500 employees with diverse labor backgrounds.
- Manage the company's flexible compensation plan (eflex tool, requests, invoices).
- Build the headcount annual budget and manage workforce planning.
- Comply with company and legal reporting requirements: costs, headcount, surveys, etc.
- Manage all administration tasks related to employees (new hires, employment contracts, offboardings, terminations) and companies (registration of new companies, opening of new locations, etc).
- Run work absences and communication with official bodies (sickness, maternity/paternity, etc.), social benefits, vacations, reduced working hours, etc.
- Oversee the working hours registration and management.
- Be responsible for the HR systems running and maintenance (Workday, SAP, etc) and lead corporate IT HR projects in the business unit.
- Represent the company in public entities: Social Security, Public Employment Service, Social Courts, Tax Agency, etc.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and labor inspections.
- Review, update and maintain policies in line with legislative changes.
- Support the annual compensation process and the off-cycle compensation changes.
- Lead the expat cases from an immigration, tax and compensation perspective.
- Identify improvements on the processes under his/her responsibility and promote the implementation of the necessary changes.
- Act as subject matter expert in its area of responsibility towards employees and the internal client.
- Create a continuous improvement culture, proactively identifying processes for improvement and driving change responding to business requirements.
- Analyze and interpret specific issues and make recommendations in relation to system updates and process improvements.
- Partner with colleagues to resolve more complex issues, ultimately reducing escalations ensuring compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources or related field required, Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years in the field of HR Operations or administration roles in HR with solid experience in the described responsibilities in companies with white and blue collar workforce.
- Deep knowledge and practical application of labor law and HR systems (Workday and SAP preferred).
- Experience working with multiple cultures and managing teams.
- Proactive, rigorous and detail oriented.
- Hands-on approach with experience in making things happen.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Fluent in business English.
