IT Business Analyst SAP FI/CO

From Morgan Philips Executive Search, we are looking for a IT Business Analyst SAP FI/CO for a strong multinational company located in Madrid.
As part of the SAP Europe Africa team, this position will have the mission of executing the rollout of the global SAP template solution across the different regions. After the template deployment, the focus turns into managing the demand for new requirements and the application support services.


Responsibilities
As single point of contact for business users in France for IT topics in the area of finance and controlling:

• Representative of the IT department towards business
• Liaison between business users and IT support teams. Responsible for the quality of the provided services
• Support business users in resolution of incidents, in definition, impact analysis and documentation of new requirements
• Prepare functional documentation and define test scenarios
• Coordination of change request process, prioritization of demands, supervision of execution and delivery by the different parties, organization of testing activities and deployment to production
• Management of tasks and deliverables of external resources. Validate effort estimations
• Support business users with testing and training activities

 
As part of the SAP Europe Africa Team:

• Coordinate and ensure with other colleagues and IT teams that the solutions and tools in the area are end-to-end consistent with the other SAP modules and external IT tools
• Contribute to the harmonization of business processes and IT tools across Europe Africa
• Participate in the global template management discussions or decisions related to finance and controlling
• Identify potential template optimizations or improvements and manage the delivery by the global teams
• Analyse template changes coming from other Business Units and identify potential impacts on BU EA and, in particular, in France
• Support business in template processes adoption and template solution understanding

 
Key requirements

• Degree in IT, engineering, business or comparable qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as IT Business Analyst or SAP FI / CO consultant in direct contact with French users and stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of French business and financial requirements (reporting, taxes…)
• Technical knowledge:
  • Functional expert in SAP FI / CO
  • Basic skills to understand technical designs in ABAP
  • Knowledge of FI / CO data model, tables and user-exits
• Experience in SAP Lifecycle management and template governance.
• Fluent spoken and written French and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally (occasional)
