A valid work permit in Luxembourg (or European citizenship) is required for this position.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Reviewing property-level financial statements for assets across the UK and Europe.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements for Luxembourg entities.
- Converting financial statements from Luxembourg GAAP to US GAAP.
- Collaborating with corporate secretarial, legal, and audit teams and asset management from various countries.
- Managing cash flow for holding entities, including daily payment submissions and reviews.
- Supporting asset acquisitions and dispositions.
- Monitoring leases, capital commitments, and cash flows in coordination with property management.
- Assisting with tax filings and recommending appropriate accounting methods for new transactions.
- Implementing procedural or system changes and analyzing controls and processes for improvements.
- Providing necessary financial information for statements, reports, and audits.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 to 6 years (maximum) of relevant experience, preferably in a Real Estate/PE firm or with a service provider/Big4 audit firm in Luxembourg
- Master's degree in finance or accounting.
- Good knowledge of LUX GAAP and US GAAP.
- Proficiency using Yardi is advantageous.
- Strong accounting controls experience, including financial statement reviews, cash flow management, acquisition/disposition support, and lease/capital commitment reviews.
- Fluent in English.
