CFO

For our client, an leading international retailer we are looking for an exceptional candidate to take over a position of:
 
Chief Financial Officer
 
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, guiding its financial strategy, planning, and maintaining its fiscal stability. She/He will collaborate closely with local and international executive management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management: Manage the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and auditing. Ensure that the financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization's short and long-term business objectives and are conducted in accordance with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the financial strategy of the company. This includes long-term financial planning and forecasting, risk management, and investment strategies.
3. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements. Ensure the timely reporting of key financial data and updates.
4. Compliance and Legal: Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions. This includes tax planning and compliance.
5. Leadership: Direct the Finance and accounting team ( 25+) and ensure their ongoing professional development and training. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred). 

Requirements:
 

• Min. 5 years of experience as a Finance Director/CFO of a complex consumer business with proven success track record
• Experience of working in an international environment
• Solid experience in leading transformation projects
• Experience in leading complex and large teams
• Professional accreditation (e.g., CPA, CFA).
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
