Legal Counsel

Company Overview:
Our Client is a medium-sized foreign-owned company specializing in unique materials. With a focus on innovation and quality, we provide exceptional products to our clients worldwide. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and draft commercial agreements, including sales contracts, distribution agreements, and supplier contracts, with a focus on identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Prepare litigation materials, including legal briefs, motions, and discovery documents, in collaboration with external counsel as needed.
• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to support the company's business objectives, with an emphasis on resolving disputes efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Operations, and Finance teams, to address legal issues and facilitate business transactions.
• Stay abreast of relevant legal developments and industry trends, particularly in areas related to materials science and international trade regulations.
• Conduct legal training sessions for employees to enhance their understanding of contractual obligations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited institution
• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction; 
• At least 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on commercial contracts and litigation.
• Proven track record of reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements, preferably in a manufacturing or materials science environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess legal risks and provide practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken
