• Embedded Linux Firmware development, SOC bring-up, bootloaders, platform initialization, board support
package porting, peripherals such as PCIe, NVMe, I2C, SPI, USB, UART, I3C, KCS, GPU, etc.
• Design and implement manageability protocols and extensions - MCTP, PLDM, SPDM, Redfish, RDE, I PM I, etc.
• Aid with porting of Azure specific BMC features -WDAT, Power Capping, SW-NVDIMM, SMM Crash dump, Azure Redfish Extensions, Azure IPMI Extensions etc.
• Participate in the design reviews and convert proposal to product development code by applying SDLC process. Stress on modular design and code reuse to achieve maintainability
• Secure Firmware design and development to enable security features like Secure Boot, OPTEE, Root of Trust functionality, Secure Monitoring, Secure Updates and Recovery, Linux Run time Security etc.
• Design and development of automation unit and functional test plans for firmware using Robot Test framework and OneBMCTest. Perform repeatable testing procedures and processes.
• Experience with Python to write Automation scripts to enable firmware validation.
• Embedded Linux Stacks - AMI SP-X, OpenBMC and Microsoft own Rack Manager/Rack-SCM stack
