Confidential Search - We’re looking for a CHRO, Vice President of Human Resources to be based in North of Taiwan, overseeing all aspects of human resources functions in Asia (Taiwan, Mainland China, & South East Asia) and North America. Experience with ‘change management’ and managing a multinational team will be highly desired. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR functions in the areas of talent training & development, talent management (acquisition, retention, compensation & benefits, performance management & succession planning). 
  • Change management: setting up processes to help employees deal with dynamic business needs and giving them the tools to manage that change effectively.
  • Develop organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues; establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision.
  • Improve the HRIS system that meets the needs of the company, including payroll, benefits, and employee records management. Stay up to date with HR technology trends and developments and evaluate new HRIS technologies for potential use.
  • Continuous improvement and innovation in human resources as it related to improving processes, addressing performance, creating action plans and ensuring proper training and development of employees.
  • Advise, counsel, and provide coaching and resolution to address employees’ performance. Provide consultation and performance management guidance to improve work relationships, build moral and increase productivity and retention.
  • Work closely with the corporate leadership team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
 
Requirements:
  • Experience with change management: prepare, support, and help individuals, teams, and organizations in making organizational change, including methods that redirect or redefine the use of resources, business process, budget allocations, or other modes of operation that significantly change a company or organization.
  • 20-30 years of working experience in human resources, currently/previously holding a title such as CHRO or VP/ Director/Head of Human Resources from the sectors of Information Technology, Electronics Design & Manufacturing, Semiconductors, or Industrials. 
  • Minimum 5+ years of managing multiple HR teams across multiple countries, multiple functional teams (for example, R&D centers, Manufacturing sites, sales offices).  
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementing effective HR strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR Information Systems, labor laws & regulations, and all HR-related processes & practices (e.g., payroll/compensations & benefits, recruitment, talent management, training & development, etc.).
  • Ability to work under high-complexity, fast-paced working environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • MSc in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or relevant field will be a plus. 
  • Full working proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
