Cluster France-Benelux Finance Senior Manager F/H

This position will be part of the EMEA Commercial Finance leadership team and report to the Senior Director Commercial Finance EMEA. The team’s role is to Business Partner the region’s Commercial teams to provide excellence in financial planning, analysis, controls and insight to deliver the regional P&L . This role will have specific leadership of the cluster P&L, sit on the Cluster leadership team and directly Business Partner the Cluster leadership.
  
RESPONSABILITIES :
 
Cluster Finance leader

• Business Partner VP and GM of the Cluster and wider Commercial leadership – Drive accountability for results and support Customer decision making (Terms & pricing/Promotion/ Portfolio analysis and recommendation/ Marketing spend ROI, etc.).
• Ownership of the delivery of the Cluster P&L and associated KBI’s.
• Support Cluster reporting cadence including ownership of Monthly Performance review document.
• Leading the preparation of budgets and forecasts, identifying key assumptions and challenges that are embedded in the plans.
• Ownership of Financial BI tools, ensuring data integrity and enhancing reporting outputs.
• Report and respond to Performance Analytics and Insights: Customer; Brand; Product Portfolio; D&T; Innovation; Market Share; Stock in Channel; demand alignment; Customer Service.
• Inputs to NPD process and act as liaison to Brand Finance including for A&P / Investment decisions.
• Overhead Management: People and Bought; Budgeting; cost control.
• Deliver financial month-end in partnership with Accounting and FP&A, providing accrual input and P&L review/ insight.
• Know and understand finance elements of markets; competitors; customers; products.

 Management & Regional Change Management

• Lead a team with a key focus on enhancing Business Partnering capability through-out the team.
• Sponsoring and participating in projects to drive processes improvement, to harmonize tools and give capability enhancement to the team.
• Actively participating in the implementation of the Newell’s business culture and ensure the success of the new French/Benelux Cluster.

 
 QUALIFICATIONS :

•  University Diploma from business economics school.
• At least 10 years working experience in Commercial Finance /FP&A roles.
• Exposure to management of large-scale businesses, ideally in a Consumer Goods environment.
• Excellent Fluency in English language both written and spoken. Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to present complex financial information to Senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills, analytical capabilities, and a strong working knowledge of BI applications.
• A natural Business Partner able to build rapport, trust and influence the outcome .
• A track record of driving financial performance, both top-line and profitability.
• A history of leading and shaping high performing teams to deliver results that drive the business forward.
• An Inquisitive mind, able to quickly assess risks and opportunities within complex business situations and provide logical Commercial solutions.
